State of Haryana is promoting Farm Mechanization through various Central/ State schemes i.e. "Crop Residue Management component of RKVY Scheme and Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanization (SMAM), State plan scheme for management of crop residue (SB-82), State scheme for providing implement/ machinery on subsidy to the group of farmers and farmers of SC category (SB-89). Subsidy @ 40-%-50% under above schemes is being provided to the individual farmers. Keeping in view the needs of the farmers and introduction of new and innovative technologies, the new initiatives are being taken by the department. The example of such initiative is the introduction of state scheme for crop residue management (SB-82) for providing operational charges to the farmers to promote the ex-situ/in-situ management of crop residue through which an incentive of Rs.1200/acre is provided. This initiative is exclusively implemented by the state of Haryana. Besides a state scheme specifically for SC farmers is also being implemented to provide employment to the SC youth. This scheme envisages for providing subsidy on farm implements. In addition, the department is also providing the demonstration of latest farm machinery (available at district level offices) in the field of the farmers to promote the latest farm technologies amongst the farmers. Department is also having a fleet of laser levellers through which the farmers' fields are being levelled precisely which results in saving of 30% of water as well as increase in yield. The above initiatives resulting in higher crop productivity for which the state has been awarded many times and is major contributor to the food bowl of the country and thereby increase in the financial status/income of the farmers. The online applications are invited from the farmers on the department portal for providing subsidy/incentives under the above cited schemes. Currently the applications are invited under the centrally sponsored scheme i.e. "Crop Residue Management component of RKVY Scheme. Farmers registered on MFMB portal during the previous Rabi & current Kharif season 2025 will be eligible irrespective of land ownership. The farmer can apply for 4 nos. of machines out of the list and can take benefit of subsidy on maximum one types of machines. .

• Applicant should be a permanent resident of Haryana.
• Applicant must be a farmer.

• Valid Aadhaar-linked bank account is required.
